What Is Epoxy Pipe Coating?
Epoxy pipe coating is a no-dig rehabilitation method for pipe that's corroding on the inside but still structurally sound enough to hold a coating. We blow or pull a two-part epoxy through the cleaned, descaled interior of your existing pipe, where it cures into a smooth protective coating that seals pinhole leaks and stops further corrosion from spreading. It's the right call when a pipe is showing pinhole leaks, rust-colored water, or gradual interior corrosion — not when a line has already cracked, collapsed, or is being invaded by roots. Epoxy coating is a different fix than CIPP pipe lining: lining builds a new structural pipe-within-a-pipe for pipe that's cracked or root-intruded, while coating protects and seals a pipe wall that's still sound but wearing thin from the inside. We treat the two as sister trenchless methods, not interchangeable options, and we'll tell you plainly which one your pipe actually needs.
