Once it is confirmed that a full trenchless liner is the best solution for your leaking pipe, we will provide you with a complete cost estimate for the entire project. As always the estimate is free and there is a no-obligation to have any work performed.
The first step is the cleaning process. And while this might not sound important, it is critical. We use a hydro jet that blasts nothing but clean water into the sewer pipe. This process uses no chemicals and is safe for your pipes and the environment. The extremely high-pressure water stream removes dirt, organic material, and clogs from inside the pipe. Only a completely clean pipe will bond completely with the liner that we are installing. And without a full bond, there could be issues down the road. We have used this specific cleaning process for years and know that once we water jet a pipe, our new liner will function correctly for decades.
Next, we coat the inflatable liner with epoxy resin and insert it into the existing pipe. Once the liner is in place, we inflate the removable bladder to expand the liner. As it expands, the epoxy adheres to the old pipe and holds the liner in place. The bladder remains inside the liner until the epoxy has completely cured. Now it is permanently bonded to the inside of the pipe. Once the liner cures, the bladder is removed, and the liner functions precisely like a brand new pipe inside the old damaged pipe. And the life expectancy of this new line is over 50 years.
